We demand that NYS Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, leader of the Senate Majority (Democratic Party)  call a special session of the Senate to vote on the reparations bill that passed in the assembly.

The Democrats have a supermajority in the NYS Assembly so there is no reason this reparations bill can’t pass if Andrea Stewart-Cousins tries. First, she has to call the NYS Senate back from vacation to vote.

Senate leader Stewart-Cousins’ district is Yonkers/White Plains/New Rochelle, but this bill affects ALL New Yorkers, so call now! (but mention you live in her district if you do).
