BOYCOTT CHIK-FIL-A

May 19th, 1925 was the day el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, Malcolm X, was born.

2025 marks the centennial of Malcolm X.

For 35 years, the December 12th Movement has honored the legacy of Malcolm X by conducting a commercial moment of silence — shutting down the stores on 125th St, from the hours of 1PM-4PM.

Most stores respect Malcolm X as a pillar of Black communities’ fight for human rights, and the decades-long tradition of closing their store for those hours.

Profit hungry Chick-Fil-A decided to continue their business as usual, blatantly disrespecting us, our history, and our struggle for self-determination in the Black community.

To this we say NO MORE CHICK-FIL-A in Harlem because if they can’t respect Harlem’s history, they don’t get Harlem’s dollars!
